71 Primulaceae

Notes: In a phylogenetic study based mainly on cpDNA sequences, Källersjö et al. (2000) found that a significant part of the genera traditionally assigned to Primulaceae should be transferred to Myrsinaceae. In an arctic context, this is relevant for Anagallis (casual), Lysimachia (incl. Glaux), and Trientalis. Ståhl and Anderberg (2004) and Stevens (2001 onwards) applied the same separation.

Primulaceae and Myrsinaceae (below) have been extensively commented on by Dr. S. Kelso. We have followed her proposals with very few exceptions.
