2n= (1) 20 (2x). - Siberia (S), Asia (C). - Hanelt (1973); Krasnoborov and Rostovtseva (1975).
(2) 22 (2x). - Siberia, Asia (C), Far East (N), Alaska, Canada (NW). - Several reports.
Löve and Löve (1975a) 'corrected' the report of Hanelt (1973) to 2n = 22 to make it fit with their other entries. However, there is also a later report of 2n = 20.
Not included: Reports of 2n = 32 from India (Sharma 1970) and of 2n = 34 (Sarkar 1988). Two deviating numbers that probably belong to other species.

Geography: Asian (N/C) - amphi-Beringian: RFE ALA.

Notes: Primula nutans occurs also in northern Siberia west to Putorana but does not reach the Arctic there.
