31 Sparganiaceae
Notes: Some morphological studies (e.g., Müller-Doblies 1970; Thieret and Luken 1996) assign Sparganium to the same family as Typha, and Sparganium was included in Typhaceae by Kubitzki (1998) and Tzvelev (PAF proposal), but not by Tzvelev (2000a), Kaul (2000), or Stevens (2001 onwards). We follow these latter authors.
