- Androsace arctica Cham. & Schltdl., Linnaea 1: 220 (1826), non Hook. (1838, qua Douglasia). Described from "ad sinum St. Laurentii" in East Chukotka (the Russian Far East). - Douglasia ochotensis subsp. arctica (Cham. & Schltdl.) Á. Löve & D. Löve, Bot. Not. 128: 517 (1976).
- Androsace tschuktschorum Knuth in Engl., Pflanzenreich IV-237, 22: 200 (1905). Type: Russian Far East: East Chukotka, "an der Behringstratte: Uëdle, auf steinigen Tundra", leg. A. and A. Krause 14.

The 2n = 38 chromosome count of Johnson and Packer (1968) was made on plants within the range of D. ochotensis, not of D. arctica.
