671702-03 The Arabis hirsuta aggregate A. hirsuta, A. pycnocarpa

Geography: Circumboreal.

Notes: The Arabis hirsuta aggregate is intricate in names and taxonomic solutions. Two parts seem to reach the Arctic: one in Europe and one in North America. We accept them as two species. A structure of basal diploids and derived allopolyploids has been suggested (Titz in several papers).

An unidentified variety of A. hirsuta s. lat. has been found as adventive in southern Greenland. It is probably not established and is commented on among Casual taxa.
