Geography: Asian (N) - amphi-Beringian: RUS SIB RFE ALA CAN.

Notes: Zhmylev: Subspecies nelsoniana is characterized by compact inflorescence and pubescent and crenate leaves with less than 15 indentations. However, plants with less compact inflorescence and less pubescent leaves are not rare in the southern parts of the Arctic, which sometimes makes separation from subsp. aestivalis very difficult.
