Geography: Asian (N) & American Beringian: SIB.
Notes: The classical locality of Carex sabulosa in North America, on the Carcross Sand Dunes in the Yukon Territory, is decidedly non-arctic. A locality on the Great Kobuk Sand Dunes in western Alaska is not close enough to be in the Borderline Arctic.
