Geography: Asian (NE) - amphi-Pacific/Beringian: SIB RFE ALA.
Notes: Two varieties are entered. For justification, see var. interior. Anderson (1936) in addition reported a non-arctic var. canadensis Foster from eastern Canada and discussed the disjunction as due to the Pleistocene glaciations.
