Notes: Chernov (1959) mapped Pimpinella saxifraga from an arctic locality on the Rybachi Peninsula. Sekretareva (1999) implied that it is native there but occurrence as an established archeophyte (persisting vegetatively) is more probable. On the Norwegian side of the border, the species only occurs as a non-arctic Second World War polemochore, i.e., it has remained in some localities, probably by vegetative means mainly, for more than 65 years.
