Notes: Elven and Solstad: Valeriana transjenisensis reaches the Arctic along the lower Lena and Jenisei rivers (Sokolova 1987a; Kurbatskij 1996b). Relations to V. officinalis, V. sambucifolia, and V. wolgensis are not clear and the three ploidy levels reported may indicate some heterogeneity.
