Notes: Korobkov: Krascheninnikov (1946) demonstrated Artemisia subarctica to be a distinct species based on morphological features, ecological characteristics, and distribution. It is more closely connected to A. norvegica than to the mainly Pacific and more mesophilic A. arctica s. lat.
