Notes: Korobkov: Based on detailed taxonomic investigations of the group, especially forms closely related to A. laciniata Willd. s. lat., we came to the conclusion that A. laciniatiformis previously reported from subarctic and arctic areas is best regarded as a narrow endemic of Kamtchatka. Leonova assigned the subarctic-arctic plants to A. tanacetifolia L. s. lat. without subspecific status. I now consider this interpretation of the taxonomic status of the subarctic-arctic plants of Siberia and the Russian Far East to be the most appropriate one after a critical survey of the LE material together with Dr. Ehrendorfer. Besides, Ehrendorfer also identified with confidence the plants from interior Alaska and the Yukon Territory as A. tanacetifolia. Our investigations of this group are continuing, in macromorphology and morphology and anatomy of achenes and pollen grains.
