Geography: North American (N): CAN.
Notes: Tanacetum bipinnatum and T. huronense have been considered two races (e.g., Hultén 1968a, 1968b; Cody 1996) or two species (e.g., Hultén 1950; Porsild and Cody 1980; Hultén and Fries 1986). Watson (2006) merged them but without justifying her treatment. We find them rather different. The morphological and ecological differences are more evident than between T. vulgare and T. boreale and we have found no documentation of intermediates. We accept two species.
