Geography: European - Asian.
Notes: Many Russian authors have accepted two species, Tanacetum vulgare and T. boreale (e.g., Tzvelev 1987e; Barkalov 1992; Korobkov PAF proposal), others two races (e.g., Boldyreva 1997b). They differ in few characters, are distributed as parapatric races in, respectively, Europe and Siberia, and we enter them as two subspecies.
