Geography: Asian Pacific: RFE.
Notes: Barkalov (1992) did not accept any records of Leontopodium kurilense from the Russian Far East north of Kamtchatka. However, Petrovsky (1987d) mapped at least three localities in the northern parts of West Chukotka and a few in South Chukotka north of the Anadyr River. This is probably another case of different herbaria giving different pictures of the arctic distribution.
