Notes: Erigeron caespitosus may not reach the Arctic. Hultén (1968a) mapped a locality in the southeastern Brooks Range in Alaska but probably south of the treeline. Cody (1996) mapped one locality in the arctic British Mountains in the Yukon Territory but the material should be re-checked before acceptance.
