2n= 48 50-54 (6x). - Europe, Canada (W). - Numerous reports of 2n = 48 and 52 and also of other numbers.
Not included: A report of 2n = 36 from Greece (Strid and Franzén 1981, for M. arvensis subsp. arvensis). Merxmüller (1970) considered only counts of 2n = 52 to be correct.

Geography: European - Asian (W): ICE* NOR* RUS** SIB** GRL*.

Notes: Myosotis arvensis is native or a well established archaeophyte in Iceland (Kristinsson 2010) and northern Norway and seems to be an established adventive in Ivigtut in southwestern Greenland (Pedersen 1972). It is probably casual elsewhere.
