Geography: Amphi-Pacific: RFE? ALA?
Notes: Elven and Murray: Subspecies asiatica is not confirmed from the Arctic. Hultén (1968a) had a question mark for the Chukchi Peninsula but plants from this region that we have seen in collections and field belong to subsp. tenella. The material from the Koryak-Anadyr area (South Chukotka) should be investigated. We have seen specimens that tentatively could be assigned to this subspecies from arctic Nunivak Island in southwestern Alaska (ALA).
