Notes: The name Pedicularis alopecuroides has been contested for this species and has been stated to belong to P. langsdorffii. Ivanina (1980b) accepted the name P. alopecuroides for it and argued why. In addition to her arguments, P. langsdorffii is not known to occur as far west in Siberia as the lower Lena River (Ivanina 1980b) from where P. alopecuroides was described.
