Not included: A report of 2n = 18 (3x?) and several Japanese reports of 2n = 24 (4x), at least the latter ones probably from another species, perhaps P. asiatica.
Geography: European - Asian (W): ICE* NOR* RUS* SIB** RFE* ALA* CAN* GRL**.
Notes: There are other races of Plantago major, at least in western Europe where one or two native shore races are accepted.
