Several localities and collections cited, no lectotype designated. - Galium pumilum subsp. normanii (O.C. Dahl) Nordh., Norsk Fl.: 609 (1940) comb. illeg., without any reference to basionym.

Geography: European Atlantic (NW): ICE.
Notes: Galium normanii is the only representative of the complicated G. pumilum Murray group that reaches the Arctic. It is restricted to Iceland, where it is very common, and to a compact, small group of localities in the southern, non-arctic parts of northern Norway.
