2n=
22 (2x). - Europe (N), Siberia (N), Canada. - At least five reports.
Geography: Circumboreal: RUS SIB RFE ALA CAN.
Notes: Elven and Yurtsev: The northern plants have been considered a subsp. nana (Khokhrjakov and Mazurenko 1991). It is uncertain whether they represent a morphologically and genetically separable race or the northern parts of a cline. We have seen no convincing differences among northern European, Siberian, Alaskan, and eastern Canadian plants and favour the latter hypothesis.
