Kovtonyuk (1997) reported Lysimachia maritima (as Glaux) to reach the Arctic in Taimyr. Hultén and Fries (1986) mapped it from the James and Hudson bays north to the arctic boundary. They also mapped it to reach the Arctic in northwestern Iceland but occurrences there were not confirmed by Kristinsson (2008). The species approaches the Arctic in Norway.
