Geography: North American (NE): CAN.
Notes: Harris (2006) published this very local race from Ellesmere Island in northeastern Canada. He argued, in this case and in the case of a similar race in B. humilis, from the supposition of an ice-free refugium in Ellesmere during the last glaciation.
