Notes: Potentilla anjuica is assumed to be a hybrid species from crosses between unidentified species of sect. Aureae and sect. Niveae.
Yurtsev: A peculiar plant, endemic to the inner parts of the Anyui Mountains (West Chukotka) where it is locally common (Lupveem massif of Paleozoic carbonate rocks). Leaflets 3-5, greenish-canescent of loose (crispate?) short wool, almost totally covered with small glands. Petioles with the upper layer of stiff patent long hairs and the lower one of subappressed recurved hairs. Pedicels tomentulose and laxely pilose. Styles viscid-glandulose at the base. It is not a primary, occasional hybrid; obviously worth recognition.
