Geography: Asian Beringian: SIB RFE.

Notes: Yurtsev: Oxytropis ochotensis combines several characters of the O. adamsiana aggregate with those of Russian Far East plants with brick red stipules. An octoploid karyorace is common in the Anyui Mountains in West Chukotka. A hexaploid population was found in a strongly isolated locality at the Alar-Magtyn River in north-central Chukotka. Accompanying morphological distinctions were not found.

Elven: Siberia (Yana-Kolyma) is added to Yurtsev's draft as Yurtsev (1986) mapped occurrences west of the Kolyma River estuary. Sekretareva (1999) accepted O. ochotensis from the Yana-Kolyma region.
