Geography: Asian Beringian: RFE.
Notes: Yurtsev: Oxytropis semiglobosa is a clear-cut endemic species of northeastern Asia, a cushion plants with special characters, e.g., hairs 4 mm long and calyx teeth longer than tube. The only close relative is O. ajanensis (Regel & Tiling) Bunge with a single locality in the vicinity of Port Ayan (Okhotsk Sea).
