Described from the lower Olenyok and Lena rivers in Yakutia (Siberia). Several syntypes cited. Polozhij (1994) indicated Tit-Ary in the Lena River Delta as the type locality.

Geography: Asian (N).
Notes: Elven and Murray: The two proposed arctic races of Oxytropis adamsiana are parapatric: subsp. adamsiana from Taimyr to Kharaulakh, subsp. janensis from Kharaulakh eastwards.
