Astragalus dasyglottis Fisch. ex DC., Prodr. 2: 282 (1825), non Pall. (1800), has been considered synonymous with A. agrestis. Astragalus agrestis is assumed to be restricted to western North America, whereas De Candolle described A. dasyglottis from "Sibiria Altaica". The two names are probably not synonymous.
