Notes: Yurtsev: Caragana jubata reaches the Arctic in the lower Lena River area. The only record in the tundra zone is from the mouth of Arangastakh River.
Elven and Solstad: Additional finds of Caragana jubata were made in 2004 at the lower Lena River in a tundra valley northwest of Chekurovka village and also on the east bank 50 km farther north, these two localities are northwest and north of the treeline. The species has abundant occurrences all around Chekurovka, north of the arctic boundary as drawn by the Russians for the Panarctic Flora. Yurtsev (in comment) indicated arctic occurrence in the Russian Far East but this is not supported by Pavlova (1989) who mapped its northernmost localities just north of Magadan town.
