Geography: North American (NE): CAN.

Notes: Argus: Salix argyrocarpa occurs in the alpine on Mount Washington where the material for the Löve chromosome count was obtained. The similar S. pellita does not occur on the mountain. It is likely, even in the absence of a voucher, that this count is correct.
