Geography: Asian (N/C).
Notes: Yurtsev: Salix rhamnifolia reaches the arctic boundary in the valley of Jenisei River (Dudinka).
Elven: Bolshakov (1992) recognized two subspecies for Siberia: subsp. rhamnifolia and subsp. saposhnikovii. The latter reaches a little farther north than the former, with localities north of the arctic boundary in northwestern and northern Siberia.
