Notes: The majority of Beringian plants (Salix orbicularis) differ from Atlantic ones (S. reticulata) in their large and differently shaped leaves. The transition to "normal" plants is, however, gradual. Whether more taxa, or at least more genetic variation, is present in the Beringian regions is left for future studies.
