Geography: European - Asian (W): (SIB).
Notes: Bolshakov (1992) mapped Salix pentandra from the Borderline Arctic along the Ob River in northwestern Siberia, just north of our arctic boundary. The species reaches northern Norway and the Kola Peninsula but not the Arctic in Fennoscandia.
