Geography: Amphi-Beringian (E) - North American: RFE ALA CAN.
Notes: Katenin: Two populations of Populus balsamifera, previously assumed to be exclusively North American, have been found on the Penkigney and Senyavin bays in East Chukotka (Katenin 1980, 1993).
