Geography: Amphi-Beringian (E): SIB RFE CAN.

Notes: Micranthes porsildiana reaches the Arctic in North America in the northeastern mainland Northwest Territories and northwestern mainland Nunavut, not in Alaska. Brouillet and Elvander (2009a) included Nunavut in their map.

Zhmylev: This is an amphi-Beringian and mainly arctic species, well separated from M. nelsoniana by leaves with less than 15 teeth and inflorescences with glandular hairs.

Elven and Murray: It keeps fully distinct in co-occurrence with M. nelsoniana both in Alaska and in East Chukotka. We find no argument supporting its inclusion in M. nelsoniana as a race.
