(2) 20 (2x, x = 10). - Far East (N). - At least four reports, numerous counts.
Not included: Zhukova (1969) reported 2n = >120 for Saxifraga grandipetala from West Chukotka, probably from another species than this one. Zhukova and Petrovsky (1987a) did not include that number.

Geography: Asian (NE): RFE.

Notes: Zhmylev: Micranthes davurica is an eastern Siberian species but its name and also the ["grandipetala" name] has been misapplied by many North American authors (e.g., Hultén 1968a; Shetler and Skog 1978; Porsild and Cody 1980) for the M. calycina aggregate (subsect. Cuneifoliatae) of sect. Chionophila.
