- Small, N. Amer. Fl. 22, 2: 134 (1905). - Saxifraga davurica Willd., Sp. Pl. 2, 1: 645 (1799). Described from "in summis alpibus Davuriae sub nive" (Siberia). Type perhaps in B.
- Saxifraga davurica f. grandipetala Engl. & Irmsch. in Engl., Pflanzenreich IV-117, 67: 22 (1916). Described from "Luetke Hafen" in Lavrentiy Bay in East Chukotka (the Russian Far East). - Saxifraga grandipetala (Engl. & Irmsch.) Losinsk., Fl. URSS 9: 151 (1939). - Saxifraga davurica subsp. grandipetala (Engl. & Irmsch.) Hultén, Acta Univ. Lund., n. s., sect. 2, 41, 1: 911 (1945).

Not included: Zhukova (1969) reported 2n = >120 for Saxifraga grandipetala from West Chukotka, probably from another species than this one. Zhukova and Petrovsky (1987a) did not include that number.
Geography: Asian (NE): RFE.
Notes: Zhmylev: Micranthes davurica is an eastern Siberian species but its name and also the ["grandipetala" name] has been misapplied by many North American authors (e.g., Hultén 1968a; Shetler and Skog 1978; Porsild and Cody 1980) for the M. calycina aggregate (subsect. Cuneifoliatae) of sect. Chionophila.
