GBIF

2n= 18 (2x). - Europe, Russia, North America. - Numerous reports, more than a hundred counts (e.g., Uotila 2001a with reference to nearly 90 counts from 20 northwestern European provinces).

Geography: European - Asian - North American (W): ICE** NOR* RUS** SIB** GRL**.

Notes: Lomonosova (1992) reported Chenopodium suecicum from the Arctic or Borderline Arctic in Siberia (the lower Ob River, the Dudinka area, and Khatanga), Sekretareva (1999, 2004) from Taimyr, and Pedersen (1972) from southwestern Greenland, in all places probably casual. In northern Europe, C. suecicum seems to reach farther north than C. album and to be less casual. The material from all arctic regions needs careful revision.
