Notes: The genus name was originally spelled Honkenya by Ehrhart even if it was given in honour of G.A. Honckeny. It may be a borderline case for correction according to ICBN (McNeill et al. 2006). Kurtto (2001a) and Wagner (2005b) applied Honckenya.
