Geography: North American: (ALA CAN).
Notes: Capnoides sempervirens has been recorded from the Borderline Arctic in the Brooks Range (Hultén 1968a), the Mackenzie River Delta (Scoggan 1978c; Porsild and Cody 1980), and on the southeastern side of Hudson Bay. It is mainly a fire specialist and probably present in the soil seed bank between fires.
