370135-36 The Papaver radicatum aggregate P. lapponicum, P. radicatum
Geography: North American (N) - amphi-Atlantic - European (N) - Asian (NW-N).
Notes: Papaver lapponicum and P. radicatum are similar in morphology and also in analyses of isozymes (Solstad et al. 2003) and AFLP markers (Solstad 2009). They are morphologically separable but only on a combination of characters. Whether they should be kept apart as two species is largely a matter of taste (and tradition).
