84 88 (8x). - Europe (N), Russia (N), Far East (N), Alaska, Canada. - Several reports and very numerous counts of both numbers, mainly for "fisheri". Octoploid in FCM (Brysting et al. 2004, numerous localities).
Geography: Circumpolar: NOR RUS SIB RFE ALA CAN GRL.
Notes: In northwestern Europe, Dupontia fisheri morph "fisheri" is restricted to Spitsbergen and surrounding islands.
