Geography: Circumpolar: NOR RUS SIB RFE ALA CAN.
Notes: A thorough study of the isolated southern Norwegian populations is Berg (1965). These populations (large, but in a confined area) differ morphologically from all the northern plants (Elven et al. 2010) and suggest some bottleneck event in their establishment.
