Not included: A report of 2n = 14 (2x) from the Murman area (Sokolovskaya and Strelkova 1960). It is difficult to imagine what can have been mistaken for this easily recognized species.
Geography: Amphi-Atlantic - European - Asian: ICE NOR RUS.
Notes: The eastern North American plant is considered a var. cisatlanticum Fernald (e.g., Crins 2007a) but does not reach the Arctic.
