Notes: Schouten and Veldkamp (1985) referred as holotype for Holcus alpinus Sw. a collection from Sweden: Lapland, Herb. Willdenow 18699 (B). Several elements are relevant as syntypes and there can be no holotype. We consider this Swartz name lectotypified as done by Weimarck.
