28 (4x). - Löve (1984b, secondary report for Elymus asiaticus).
Geography: Asian (N/C): SIB.
Notes: Tzvelev (PAF proposal) did not report Hystrix sibirica from the Arctic. Peschkova (1990a) reported and mapped it north to the Arctic in Taimyr and also from the possibly Borderline Arctic in Anabar-Olenyok.
The name Asperella sibirica Trautv. 1877 may be invalid, first validated by B. Fedtsch., Fl. Transbaic.: 104 (1929). We are not sure what this implies for the Kuntze combination from 1891 within Hystrix.
