Not included: A report of 2n = ca. 52 from Wrangel Island (Zhukova et al. 1973). The identity of the plant should be checked. Three reports of 2n = 60 from southern Siberia (Krogulevich 1971) and from Canada (Löve and Solbrig 1965; Löve and Ritchie 1966). Both the last-mentioned were published for C. physocarpa and were omitted by Löve and Löve (1975a). The identities of the plants behind these reports are uncertain.
