Notes: Egorova (PAF proposal) reported Juncus articulatus to reach the Arctic in Yana-Kolyma in northeastern Siberia. Kovtonyuk (1987) and Kirschner et al. (2002b) reported and mapped the species as quite southern in Siberia, without any northern occurrence. We suspect that the Yana-Kolyma record is based on misidentification and exclude Siberia. Other races occur in more temperate regions.
