Paris quadrifolia is mostly reported with 2n = 20 (+ 0-10 B chromosomes) but reports from Siberia indicate more variation in that region.
Geography: European - Asian: (ICE NOR RUS).
Notes: Paris quadrifolia reaches just beyond the arctic boundary in northwestern and northeastern Iceland, northeastern Norway (Vadsø), and in northwestern European Russia (the Murman area).
