Geography: Circumboreal-polar: NOR RUS SIB RFE ALA CAN GRL.
Notes: Schaulo (1988b) did not map Equisetum scirpoides from the Arctic in Siberia. However, Tolmachev (1960) mapped it from arctic localities in the regions Yamal-Gydan, Taimyr, Kharaulakh, and Yana-Kolyma, probably based on material in LE.
